Role: Business Analyst
We are looking for a passionate Business Analyst to strengthen the team. You will be part of a dynamic team and collaborate with colleagues who are part of QRM in CRO domain, our team mainly focus on Data & Implementation of Regulatory Capital Models for the retail mortgages portfolio.
Education & experience:
– Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative science or similar education. Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of regulations for IRB models is essential.
Familiarity with BCBS 239, BIS, EBA, CRD, or IFRS is highly valued.
– Two/Five years of experience with regulatory capital modelling
– Two/Five years of experience with data warehouses.
– Has knowledge of data in the 'data access chain' in financial domains, preferably in credit risk
– Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL tools, ETL tools, Business Intelligence tools, data pipelines, Python, and data modelling tools.
– General knowledge of and experience with information management and business processes at a financial services provider.
– Good to have – Knowledge about modern data architectures like Data cloud like Snowflake.
What will be your responsibilities?
– You can retrieve information needs and system requirements from the organization, analyse them, and translate them into logical and physical structures within the Data Warehouse (F.
– Perform independent validation of critical data products and risk reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
– Collaborate and Influence: Work with diverse teams to assess governance, IT infrastructure, risk data aggregation capabilities and risk reporting practices. Your recommendations will directly shape our risk management practices.
– Drive Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance processes, policies, and data and reporting quality, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
– Stay Ahead: Keep abreast of regulatory developments and industry best practices, translating complex requirements into actionable insights.
– Data is becoming increasingly important and is part of the strategy. You will be involved in improving and further developing the FDW2 where necessary.
– A problem-solver with an eye for detail and a desire to challenge the status quo.
– Acts as a mature discussion partner for internal and external stakeholders (colleagues at all levels throughout the organization, supervisory bodies, etc.).
